Puppies at five and six weeks old

I'm sorry for the delay in posting.  With the holidays, my new President position for the Lagotto Romagnolo Club of America and most importantly caring for the puppies, I am finding little time for blog posts these days. They are seven weeks old today and I forced myself to take a break from other things to put some pictures up that I have take over the past two weeks.

In case you haven't noticed a theme...most of these pictures are when they are sleeping, or nearly sleeping because when they are not, they are perpetual motion!

Second Week

As you can see, there are big changes this week!  The puppies have their eyes open and are starting to push themselves up and take some steps.  They have also just started to have an interest and awareness of each other.  Here are some random photos for the week and also a couple of face shots.

Pictures From Their First Week

I always say, not much appears to change in the first week, but they have all doubled their birth weight!  Orcia is being a great Mom and taking great care of them.  All of the puppies are getting bigger and stronger, Orcia is well....what more could I ask for?
