10 Weeks Old

That bittersweet time arrived yesterday when I sent home the last little puppy, Bellini.  I woke up this morning and couldn't quite comprehend the quiet family room.  I am glad all five puppies have found wonderful and loving homes, but I must admit,  I miss them terribly!  (And no, I'm not crying as I write this, well... maybe just a little bit.)  

Behave for your new owners little guys... and can't wait to watch you grow!

Introducing...

For those of you that know us, you know that Mike and I started a new hobby of making our own wine a few years ago.  We have expanded from making 2 different varieties to 5 different varieties this year.  And, after our two trips to Italy with a third in the planning, we also discovered that we are totally Italy-obsessed too!  So when thinking about names for Orcia’s litter, what would be more appropriate than naming the puppies after Italian wines?

The puppies were out playing with Mom today.  Actually, Mom wanted to play ball with me, but the puppies were most interested in chasing the "milk bar"!
