Puppies at Seven Weeks Old Playing Outside

We finally had a break in the weather so I was able to get them outside this week for some fresh air and playtime...and they had sooo much fun!

This is a picture of the little girl staring at us on the sofa in front of her.  She wanted us to pick her up so badly - she looked so pathetic.

This little guy was so relaxed with Mike holding him and was sleeping so soundly.

Orcia's Puppies - Six Weeks Old

I have finally chosen their names and will update shortly!  But for now enjoy their sweet little "mug shots".

Update:
It has been very difficult for me to decide which name theme I wanted to go with for this litter.  Of course it had to be Italian being their sire resides in Italy but nothing seemed to fit just right.  Their father is one of the best, if not THE best, male Lagotto in all of Italy, so I wanted names that would reflect on how wonderful he is and how he dominates the show ring.  So I have chosen the theme of Emperors of the Roman Empire and their wives that served beside them.  These were strong and dominating rulers and the theme seemed to fit so well with this litter.

So, I am excited to introduce them all by name!

I look at these two little faces and wonder if there is anything cuter?!  These two little girls are so self assured, funny and sweet!

After much thought I have finally decided on names for these two girls.  While visiting our dear friends in Italy we often follow up our meals with one of two after-dinner liqueurs (or in Italian, a digestif).  To honor our friends in Italy and as a reminder to the great times we have spent with them, we have chosen to name them after these two wonderful Italian liqueurs.  Of course because of the girls' Italian heritage too they seemed to fit so perfectly.   And, what perfect names for two sassy and sweet little ones!

So, I'd like to introduce these sweet girls by name!

She has some crazy curls starting on the top of her head that makes her look like she has "bed-head".  I tried to fix it for her pictures but wasn't so successful.
