Two Weeks Old!

From this point on it is always seems like the puppies start to change on a daily basis.  They are starting to push themselves up on all fours and take a wobbly step before they tumble over.  They have persistence though as they will right away try again!  All of their eyes are open now too, albeit a little cloudy yet which always makes me wonder how much they can actually see.  Today I saw one puppy gnawing on another puppy's foot, it won't be long and they will be really starting to play with each other.
 
Here are their two week pictures as well as some miscellaneous pictures.  It is amazing how quickly their coats are starting to show their roan.

One Week Old!!

Sanu' is such a good and attentive Mom that by their one week birthday all puppies have doubled in size.  Many times their birth photos and their one week old photos don't look all that different, but with their coloring changing so quickly I think they have changed a lot in one week.  Their roan coloring is coming out so quickly and it is easy to see the dark color underneath of the white now showing that they will mature to be beautiful roan Lagotti just like their parents.

Welcome to the world little ones! March 31, 2013

Early on Easter morning Sanu' blessed us with 5 healthy puppies.  We have 3 girls and 2 boys.  It looks like we will have all roan puppies - just like their parents.  Please visit us often to see updates of Sanu's litter and watch them grow. 

I would like to thank Kristina Gustaffson for the trust she has placed in me and for all of her help in making this litter come to be.

10 Weeks Old

That bittersweet time arrived yesterday when I sent home the last little puppy, Bellini.  I woke up this morning and couldn't quite comprehend the quiet family room.  I am glad all five puppies have found wonderful and loving homes, but I must admit,  I miss them terribly!  (And no, I'm not crying as I write this, well... maybe just a little bit.)  

Behave for your new owners little guys... and can't wait to watch you grow!
